Verl D. Willis, 77, of Camdenton, MO, died Sunday, March 9, 2025, at his daughter's home in St. Johns, Florida.
He was born February 19, 1948, in White Hall, IL, the son of Verl F. Willis and Marjorie K. (Henson) McKean. He married the love of his life Garneta L. (Kraushaar) Willis on October 22, 1975, and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons and a Son-in-Law, Daniel DeWayne Willis (Rachel), Clayton Verl Willis (Haile) and Christer Jansson (Kristy Willis Jansson); 7 grandchildren, Emily Willis, Danica Willis, Sahara Jansson, Haven Jansson, Isabella Willis, Lilly Jansson and Greyson Willis; one sister, Kosta Camden; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristy Dewinn (Willis) Jansson.
Verl was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked as a telecommunications contractor before retiring with his wife and moving to their home in Camdenton, MO. He found his greatest joy
