Patricia H. Holmes, age 100 of White Hall went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 20, 1924 in Blue Island, the daughter of James and Hazel Cole Holmes.
She is survived by a special friend and caregiver, Karen McGee of White Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Cynthia K. Holmes; five brothers, James, Barney, Kenneth, Barton, and Boland Holmes.
Pat's family owned and operated Holme's Grocery in White Hall from the early 1950's until November 15, 1994. Pat and Bo operated the store after their parents passed away.
Pat had a servant's heart. She loved God and people. She seen good in everyone she met. She always called people ma'am or sir. She did what the bible instructs us to do. She was a true servant always putting everyone above herself.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at White Hall Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels. Airsman-Hire
