Richard "Rick" Johnisee, age 71 of Jerseyville passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville. He was born April 18, 1953 in Granite City, the son of Clyde and Mary Moss Johnisee. He married Catherine Wright July 5, 1975 in White Hall and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Randy (Rhonda) Johnisee of Jerseyville, Chris (Kristen) Johnisee of Grafton, a daughter, Missy (Drew) Settles of Jerseyville, eight grandchildren, Clayton Poppe, Anna Marshall, Aiden Johnisee, Colton Settles, Everett Settles, Theo Johnisee, Luke Settles, and Ila Johnisee, and a brother, Jerry Johnisee of Foley, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Richard was a member of Crosspoint Church of Fieldon. He owned and operated Rick's Autobody in Hardin for many years. He enjoyed working on and painting cars, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
