Rodney Dale Reid Murrayville - Rodney D. Reid, 74, of Murrayville passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born, Apr. 1, 1950, in Jacksonville, the son of Ralph M. and Helen R. Cummins Reid. Surviving is son, Frank Andrew "Andy" (Karie) Reid of Jacksonville; grandson, Wyatt Reid; sister, Beverly Dietz of Murrayville and niece, Heather Dietz of Maywood. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, John Dietz and nephew, Kyle Dietz. Rodeny was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roodhouse. He was employed by Neff Colvin and retired from Carpenters Local 270. Rodney enjoyed farming, restoring tractors and riding motorcycles. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Roodhouse with interment in the Murrayville City Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Roodhouse or Murrayville Ceme
