Kathleen Ann (Ryan) Rawe, age 84 of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with family by her side. She was born January 16,1940, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of John B. and Christine E. (Sommers) Ryan of Springfield,
IL.
Kathleen graduated from Ursuline Academy, class of 1957. She worked at St. John Hospital and for Dr. Clarence Fleischli. She also helped care for her younger brothers and participated in the Catholic Youth program where she met Leonard Rawe. They married on September 4,1965, and resided all their married life in Carrollton, IL. Leonard preceded Kathleen in death on February 18, 2016.
She is survived by her four brothers Tim, Pat, John, and Frank Ryan; children Joe Rawe of Delavan, IL; Ryan (Jenny) Rawe of Carrollton, IL; Beth (Tim) Melton of Winchester, TN; and Becky (Mike) Nordin of Elk River, MN.; four grandchildren Alison Rawe of Springfield, IL; Grace and Henry Rawe, Carrollton, IL; Anna Rawe SK3 USCG
