Shirley Schacher Carrollton - Shirley Rimbey Schacher, age 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 23, 2024 at Cedarhurst Assisted Living in Godfrey, IL. Shirley was born on June 13, 1930 in Roodhouse, IL, daughter of Homer and Delta Rimbey. She married Robert D. Schacher on July 14, 1951 in Roodhouse IL. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Jack Rimbey. She is survived by her two daughters. Becky (Brian) Nolan of Tampa, FL. and Barbara Schacher of Alton, IL. Two grandchildren, Ben (Tiffany) Nolan of Scottsdale, AZ and Beth (Josh) Coffman of Wesley Chapel, FL. Four great grandchildren, Ashlynn and Alexandra Nolan and Nolan and Caleb Coffman. Shirley graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a nursing degree. She and Bob owned and operated Rimbey's Florist and Greenhouse in Carrollton, Illinois for almost 40 years.
