Raymond David Watkins Scottville - Raymond David Watkins, 87, passed away Friday, May 10th, 2024, at Whitehall Rehab and Nursing Center in Whitehall, Illinois. He was born January 16th, 1937, at his grandparents' home in Quinlan, Texas. He was the oldest of four brothers and the son of Sam and Florence Watkins. He married Beverly Ann Johnson in Denver, Colorado on December 20th, 1959. They enjoyed 64 years of marriage. He was the loving father to two sons and one daughter. He joined the Naval Air Reserve in 1954 during his junior year of high school. Throughout the next few years, he attended electronic school and college at Arlington State College. He went into active duty in the Navy and lived in Georgia, California, and Washington. He was deployed to Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands in 1956.
